Glenfillan Lodge is a beautiful self-catering farmhouse located roughly 30 km from Grahamstown, Port Alfred, Kenton on Sea and Bathurst- with its origins dating back to 1812. It offers cycling, birding, walking, trail running or just the opportunity to relax and enjoy nature at its best!
The house offers 5 en-suite bedrooms and an open-plan kitchen and living area. The kitchen is well equipped for self-catering. The dining area has a dining table and chairs while the lounge has a comfy lounge suite and large indoor fireplace perfect for the cold winter months.
The house features an outside patio with a covered braai area as well as an outside braai area and a swimming pool.
There are marked walking paths on this 780-hectare working cattle farm but guests are more than welcome to explore their own routes. There is an abundance of birds (206 documented) and a variety of natural game, along with a chance of spotting the Cape Clawless Otter. For the cyclists, there are plenty of single track, jeep track and district roads to ride.
